Huawei ETP4890-A2 Embedded Power Overview
The ETP4890-A2 is a box-type 2U power system that supplies power for –48 V DC communications equipment. It uses 15 A or 30 A rectifiers and provides a maximum output current of 90 A.
The site monitoring unit (SMU) performs communication and alarm reporting, monitorsand controls the power system, monitors the environment, and reports faults in a timelymanner.
Monitor module SMU01A, SMU01B, SMU01C are also optional. One SMU01C is configurated by default. The SMU01C connects to the power and environment over YDN protocol and accessnetwork host over master/slave protocols. Both Rectifiers and the SMU are hot-swappable.
ETP4890-A2 is primarily used to supply reliable power to communications equipment such as Huawei OLTs, routers, switches, and transmission systems.

- The SMU01A communicates with Huawei Network Ecosystem (NetEco) and third-party network management systems (NMSs) over various security protocols, such as the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), featuring flexible networking. It provides WebUI and implements remote unattended management.
- The SMU01B supports Huawei master/slave protocols and access network point-to-point protocols, which allows Huawei access network communications equipment to connect to the U2000.
- Displays information on a liquid crystal display (LCD) and provides buttons for operations.
- Supports electronic labels.
- Rectifiers and the site monitoring unit (SMU) are hot-swappable.
- Allows high-efficiency and standard-efficiency rectifiers with the same capacity to coexist.

3. Warranty Service

For products within the warranty period, if quality issues arise, we will provide a replacement free of charge with your next order. No additional shipping costs will be incurred for the replacement. -
Out-of-Warranty Repairs:
For products outside the warranty period, repairs can be arranged. However, customers will need to cover theround-trip international shipping costs for sending the product to us and receiving it back after repair.
4. Damages or Loss During Shipping

If the product is damaged or lost during shipping, the insurance company will compensate for the loss. Customers must:- Submit a compensation claim within 15 calendar days of the order being shipped.
